Mack Owen is founder, president and co-owner of The Owen Group Advertising. Owen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Texas Tech University in 1981. After serving seven years as a copywriter and account manager with Phil Price Advertising in Lubbock, he founded The Owen Group Advertising in 1988.

Owen has been recognized for his creative work with local, regional and national Addy awards, including multiple Best of Show winners in print and broadcast. He has also been awarded the prestigious AAF National Addy award, along with five national Telly Awards recognizing the nation’s best local television commercials, and two 2012 National Pixie Awards recognizing the nation’s best animated television commercials. He has also received the National Newspaper Association’s national Dandy Award, the Texas Newspaper Association newspaper award and numerous Silver Microphone awards recognizing the nation’s best local radio commercials.

Owen is a 1994 recipient of the Silver Medal award, the most prestigious award given by the American Advertising Federation and is a frequent judge for the American Advertising Federation Addy Awards. He was named an Outstanding Alumni in the College of Media & Communication from Texas Tech University in 2004. Mack’s role is account management and campaign direction and planning.
