Barry Helms has served as the Art Director at The Owen Group Advertising since October 2010. Barry received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Texas Tech University in 2010. Barry’s design work in public awareness advertising has been acknowledged by the design community in publications, including Creative Quarterly. His peers and professors at Texas Tech University have also acknowledged Barry’s work with the “Best In Show” award for his logo work. Helms was awarded a Silver Addy in 2013 for his design work for the 2012 Lubbock Music Festival. He took home the Judge’s Choice Addy in 2015 for his print design. Barry previously served as an adjunct professor for the communication design program at Texas Tech University from 2014-15.
